HENLEY, Presiding Judge.

By an information alleging one prior felony conviction, defendant was charged with escape from the Missouri State Penitentiary. Sections 556.280 and 557.351.1 The court found that defendant had been convicted previously of a felony, sentenced and imprisoned therefor; a jury found him guilty as charged. The court assessed defendant’s punishment at imprisonment for three years in custody of the Department of Corrections and, after defendant’s motion for judgment of acquittal or, in the alternative, for a new trial was overruled, sentenced him in accordance with the…
