Plaintiff-appellant Edward Donnelly, a high school teacher, sued defendants-appellees — the Greenburgh Central School District No. 7, his former employer, and three of his supervisors there (collectively “the District,” unless otherwise noted) — in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York (Lewis A. Kaplan, Judge).
