This case is before the Court upon the appeal of Donald Wayne Triplett from a March 21, 1990, final order denying post-trial motions and imposing a sentence of life imprisonment without the possibility of parole. On March 16, 1990, a jury found the appellant guilty of first degree murder without a recommendation of mercy for the November 23, 1989, murder of Jeffrey Dean Houck.
