On May 30, 2017, the United States Court of Federal Claims resolved a dispute about the procurement policy that Congress intended for the Department of Veterans Affairs ("the VA") to use when deciding whether the products of veteran-owned small businesses will be prioritized over those made by small businesses that employ blind and severely disabled individuals.
