The City of New Orleans Department of Law ("Department of Law"), seeks review of a March 27, 2017 order issued by the Civil Service Commission ("Commission"). The ruling found the Department of Law failed to restore all emoluments to Dr. Lucille Perry ("Dr. Perry") at the time of her reinstatement and awarded Dr. Perry attorney's fees. Dr. Perry answers on appeal and seeks review of the Commission's May 15, 2017 order awarding attorney's fees and argues that the amount is insufficient.
