Frazier, plaintiff-appellee, brought suit against numerous Louisiana state officials, defendants-appellants, (1) under 42 U.S.C. § 1983 for violations of her rights under the First and Fourteenth Amendments; *822and (2) under state law for claims of retaliatory discharge and intentional infliction of emotional, physical and mental injuries.
