The above petitioner, in 1918, secured a final decree of divorce from the bonds of matrimony for the cause of adultery, and in the decree was allowed permanent alimony at the rate of $10 each week. Subsequently, the petitioner married a man named Hill, and thereupon the defendant, her former husband, filed a petition in this cause praying that he be relieved of any further payment under the aforesaid decree.
