The three eases of The People versus Stolzoff, The People versus Castro and The People versus Maxwell are so similar in all of their essentials that they have been argued and submitted together and a rehearing having been granted, are now before this court.

The facts established by the evidence, so far as Stolzoff is concerned, were in brief that on the day involved he had an automobile, described as a station wagon, in front of the gate at Camp Elliott, a cantonment outside the corporate limits of the city of San Diego, that he accepted passengers for transportation to San Diego, waiting…
