MANION, Circuit Judge.
Ralph Greenslade was an experienced editor of the sports section of a major newspaper. He befriended a new female coworker as they worked together on the night shift. He offered her rides home and gave her workplace and personal advice, usually unsolicited. Soon she grew tired of his imposing attention and began to refuse to ride home with him unless someone else rode along. She also avoided face-to-face contact with him.
