OPINION OF THE COURT

Memorandum.

The order of the Appellate Division should be affirmed.

Defendant appeals from an order of the Appellate Division which affirmed a judgment of conviction for reckless endangerment in the first degree (Penal Law § 120.25), criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree (Penal Law § 265.03) and criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree (Penal Law § 265.02 [4]). During the cross-examination of one of the People’s witnesses, it was discovered that the witness had been previously convicted of disorderly conduct as a result of an assault upon his wife.…
