The respondent had a judgment for divorce and alimony against the appellant in the circuit court, and upon this appeal appellant raises the point that there was no marriage. The circuit court upon sufficient evidence found:

“That on or about August 15, 1898, at Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the plaintiff and the defendant agreed to take one another as husband and wife, and lawfully became husband and wife, and 'subsequently and from the time of the making of such contract and up to about the 10th day of May, 1911, the plaintiff, and the defendant lived and cohabited together and were known in the…
