The appellee, Benjamin H. Ehrlich, filed his bill for injunction to restrain the village of Wilmette and its officers from enforcing the provisions of a zoning ordinance restricting to residential use the area in which three lots owned by him are situated, and also seeking to enjoin the enforcement of certain provisions in a building code. Issues were formed by plea and answer and the cause was referred to a master in chancery, who heard the evidence and found that the material allegations of the bill had not been proved.
