The Town of Poughkeepsie application, filed with the Water Resources Commission, Department of Conservation, in 1967, sought approval of a source of water supply from the City of Poughkeepsie, .and of its financial and engineering plans for the establishment of a Town of Poughkeepsie water improvement area. Hearings were held on that application. The City of Poughkeepsie did not formally appear in the proceedings before the Water Resources Commission.
