On May 1, 1931, and for some time prior thereto— and since then — J. A. Marneras was the owner of sixty acres of land located a short distance from the city of Louisville, Kentucky, on the Brownsboro Road, the latter dividing the tract into two portions, one of which contained forty-six acres and the other one across the road containing fourteen acres.
