The defendant appeals from the judgment of conviction, rendered after a jury trial, of assault of a peace officer in violation of General Statutes § 53a-167c (a) (l),1 breach of the peace in violation of General Statutes § 53a-181 (a) (l),2 and threatening in violation of General Statutes § 53a-62 (a) (1) and (2).3 The defendant claims that (1) the trial court improperly instructed the jury that it could consider constitutionally protected speech in determining whether he was guilty of the charge of breach of the peace, (2) the state presented insufficient evidence of “intent to terrorize…
