Appellants, receivers of the Texas & Pacific Railway Company, have appealed from a judgment against them in favor of appellee for damages resulting from personal injuries.. At the time of his injury appellee was a mail clerk in the service of the United States government, and had been about 18 years. He was familiar with the duties of the position and the use to be made of the equipment furnished by appellants under contract with the government for taking on mail at nonstop stations.
