I. Introduction

This matter is before the Court on the plaintiffs, Raymond C. Rodrigues’, motion to remand for lack of jurisdiction pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 1447(c). (# 15). The plaintiff originally filed this action in Bristol County (Massachusetts) Superior Court on May 5, 2004, claiming that he was sexually harassed while an employee of the defendant, Genlyte Thomas Group LLC d/b/a/ Lightolier (“Genlyte”).
