The facts of this case as presented by the story of appellee are as follows: Appellee, having purchased a trip ticket over appellant’s line, from Redwood to Vicksburg and return, boarded the train at the first-named place. Shortly after the train started, the conductor took up the going portion of the *350ticket, returning- tbe other part to appellee, and giving him a conductor’s slip, indicating the point at which the passenger was to disembark.
