SEVERENS, Circuit Judge.
This is an action at law prosecuted by the defendant in error, Mary L. Steele, to recover from the plaintiff in error a sum which she claims to be due her under a contract for services rendered to John M. Wilson, who died December 29, 1901, leaving a will whereby he bequeathed all his estate to Eliza B. Miller, the defendant below.
