The Supreme Court Advisory Committee on Judicial Conduct (Committee) issued a presentment charging respondent, Judge of the Municipal Court of West New York, with violating Canons 1 and 2 of the Code of Judicial Conduct. We thereupon ordered respondent to show cause why he should not be publicly reprimanded for his conduct.
