Bates v. United States
District of Columbia Court of Appeals
1Opinion of the Court
FERREN, Associate Judge:
A jury convicted appellant Bates of robbery, D.C.Code 1973, § 22-2901. He now argues that (1) the trial court erred in permitting the government to impeach him under D.C.Code 1973, § 14-305(b)(l)(B) with a prior conviction of unlawful entry, and that (2) the prosecutor, in his closing argument to the jury, improperly implied that defense counsel did not believe his own client’s testimony. Finding no reversible error, we affirm. 1
