LIVINGSTON, Chief Justice.

This is an appeal by plaintiff in a detinue suit from a judgment for the defendant.

The trial was had without a jury, and the judge found facts from the evidence taken before him. It was for the recovery of a “ common stock certificate of the United Fruit Company, representing 100 shares of said. Company’s Common Stock, and being numbered M 94001, issued and being presently registered with the Old Colony Trust Company, Transfer Agent for the United Fruit Company, in the name of Robert L.
