BISSELL, District Judge.

This action was first filed on January 9, 1991 in the Law Division of the New Jersey Superior Court, Middlesex County. The action was filed by plaintiff Joseph Harrah, a professional photographer d/b/a as “Photography by Joseph” in South Plainfield, New Jersey, against Minnesota Mining and Manufacturing Company (“3M”), a corporation organized under the laws of Minnesota. The original complaint sought damages for defendant 3M’s negligence in failing to provide for safe delivery or return of photographs which plaintiff had loaned to defendant for defendant’s use…
