This is a suit in equity, brought November 6, 1882, in the Circuit Court of the United States for the District ofr Massachusetts, by .the- Morley Sewing Machine Company and the Morley Button Sewing Machine Company against Charles B. Lancaster, for the alleged infringement of letters patent Nq. 236,350, granted January 4, 1881, to James H. Morley, E. S. Fay and Henry E.
