This appeal primarily requires consideration of the degree of particularity required for pleading fraud in a securities fraud action. Paul Stevelman appeals from the November 25, 1997, judgment of the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut (Ellen Bree Burns, District Judge) dismissing with prejudice his securities and common law fraud action against Alias Research Inc. and its former chief executive officer, Stephen R.B.
