Dear Mr. Campbell:

As General Counsel for the Kansas Insurance Department (KID), you request that our office address whether KID can restrict the inspection, copying, or distribution of a rate filing submitted pursuant to K.S.A. 2009 Supp. 40-955. KID stores all rate filings in an electronic format, which the public can access at a dedicated computer terminal located in KID's office.
