Aliene Emmert’s claim for workmen’s compensation for disability alleged to have resulted from an accident of January 30, 1969, was dismissed by the Workmen’s Compensation Board on the ground that it had not been filed within the one-year limitation period prescribed by KRS 342.185. Her contention that her employer was estopped to assert the defense of limitations, by reason of representations made to her by the employer’s clerk in charge of workmen’s compensation claims, was rejected by the board on the ground that there was nothing to indicate any authority of the clerk…
