The Elizabethton Flooring Company was a manufacturing corporation engaged in the manufacture of flooring with its principal plant located at Elizabethton, Tenn., and it operated another plant at Johnson City, Tenn., the title to which stood in the name of Wm. S. Whiting. It had been, for several years prior to 1920, in successful operation, and had acquired valuable property. Wm. S. Whiting was its president and owned its outstanding stock.
