Plaintiffs (including two minors), availing themselves of a previous *187homestead entry and settlement, made by their ancestor, John A. Russell, obtained from the United States government, on September 26, 1906, a patent to a tract of land described as the N. W. 14 of S. W. Yé, and N. E. 14 of S. W. Yé, and fractional S. W. Yé of N. W.
