This is an appeal from an order dismissing a complaint for failure to exercise reasonable diligence to obtain service of process on the defendants.

The plaintiff, James Riopelle, filed a complaint on December 1, 1983, alleging that he had been injured on December 3, 1981, after taking a drug manufactured by the defendant, Abbott Laboratories Drug Company (Abbott), which he had purchased from the defendant, Oseo Drug Company (Oseo).
