Lakeshore Marine, Inc. brought this action against Hartford Accident & Indemnity Company seeking recovery for a loss pursuant to an insurance policy which provided boiler and machinery coverage. In its complaint Lakeshore asserted that a certain chlorine tank, which was an integral part of the water system serving its property, “suddenly and unexpectedly began releasing the chlorine gas contained therein into the atmosphere.” Hartford denied coverage under the policy and moved for summary judgment.
