The main question in this admiralty appeal is whether the United States is liable for interest on damages awarded under a special act not specifically providing for interest. The ap-peEant filed on May 29, 1922, a libel to recover damages arising out of a collision of the United States government destroyer BeE with the Cornelia, on August 9, 1918, in Broad Sound Channel in Boston Harbor.
