In this case nine appeals have been taken from a consolidated decree of foreclosure and sale entered January 8, 1929, adjudging, among other things, the foreclosure of six railroad mortgages known, in this record as (1) the Minneapolis & St. Louis first consolidated mortgage, dated November 2,1894; (2) the Minneapolis & St. Louis first and refunding mortgage, dated March 1, 1899; (3) the Iowa Central first mortgage, dated August 1, 1888; (4) the Iowa Central first and refunding mortgage, dated March 1, 1901; (5) the Des Moines & Ft.
