This appeal involves the plaintiffs claim for damages based upon breach of contract and quantum meruit. The plaintiff appeals from the trial court’s granting of the defendant’s motion for summary-judgment, claiming that the court erred in holding that the contract between the parties was invalid and unenforceable under General Statutes § 20-429 (a) of the Home Improvement Act and § 42-135a of the Home Solicitation Sales Act.
