Defendant has moved to dismiss the Plaintiffs complaint pursuant to Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 12(b)(6). Based on the conclusions set forth below, Defendant’s motion is denied.

I. Prior Proceedings

Plaintiff filed a complaint in this Court on September 21, 2015, alleging a single defamation claim. See Compl.1 Defendant sought an extension of her time to answer, move, or otherwise respond to Plaintiffs Complaint to November 30, 2015. The request was granted on October 12, 2015.
