*68Defendant Sean J. Poccia (“Poccia”) appeals from the trial court’s order enforcing against him a foreign judgment obtained in a bankruptcy court in the state of Michigan by plaintiff Lumbermans Financial, LLC (“Lumbermans”). Poccia contends the trial court erred by ordering him to pay damages in excess of the award in the foreign judgment. After careful review, we reverse the trial court’s order and remand this action for further proceedings.
