It appears from the answer that prior to the consummation of the contract for the erection of the high school building the constitutional debt limit of the school district was $738,262; that the indebtedness of the school district at that time was $542,491.61; that when the contract for the erection of the high school, building was consummated the debt limit was exceeded by $16,319.61.
