FERGUSON, Judge:

Tried before a general court-martial convened at Saigon, Vietnam, by the Commanding General, The Support Troops, United States Army Vietnam, the accused pleaded not guilty to a charge of premeditated murder, in violation of Uniform Code of Military Justice, Article 118, 10 USC § 918. He was found guilty of voluntary manslaughter, in violation of Code, supra, Article 119, 10 USC § 919, and sentenced to dishonorable discharge, forfeiture of all pay and allowances, confinement at hard labor for teii years, and reduction.
