United States v. William R. Williams
Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit
1Opinion of the Court
RIPPLE, Circuit Judge.
William R. Williams was convicted of threatening the life of the President of the United States. See 18 U.S.C. § 871. He appeals his sentence of five years incarceration followed by three years of supervised release. He claims that the government breached its plea agreement by moving for an upward departure to the five year statutory maximum sentence. For the reasons set forth in the following opinion, we affirm the judgment of the district court.
