I respectfully dissent.

¶ 22 The majority holds that because the certified mail receipts for notices of applications for treasurer's deeds, addressed to Mr. and Mrs. Cordell at 705 N. Vine, Farmington, New Mexico 87401, were returned showing that the mailings had been signed for by Cleo Cordell at 703 N. Vine, the county treasurer was required, both as a matter of statute and due process, to recheck county records to determine whether the 705 N. Vine address was correct.
