In this action for professional malpractice arising out of defendant law firm’s1 representation of plaintiff Ulico Casualty Company, Supreme Court awarded plaintiff partial summary judgment as to liability on its first cause of action, finding that defendant breached its fiduciary duty by assisting efforts to establish nonparty Legion Insurance Company in a competing business and lure away plaintiffs customers.
