OPINION OF THE COURT

ALDISERT, Circuit Judge.

This appeal from a judgment for defendants entered upon a jury verdict raises questions of alleged error during the course of a trial for money damages brought by a state prisoner under 42 U. S.C. § 1983. Trial was held following remand by us, Wilson v. Prasse, 404 F. 2d 1380 (3d Cir. 1968), for the purpose of ascertaining whether defendants deprived appellant-of his rights under the Free Exercise Clause of the First Amendment, made applicable to the states by the Fourteenth Amendment.
