Irene Munoz Triguero appeals from the trial court’s grant of the motion for summary judgment of defendants ABN AMRO Bank N.V. (Bank), ABN AMRO Investment Fund Services, Inc. (Fund), and Gerald Cartigny, an employee of Bank, in her libel and slander action. The trial court found, pursuant to OCGA § 50-2-21 (b) and (c), 2 that Georgia was forum non conveniens and dismissed Triguero’s action without prejudice.

Summary judgment is proper when there is no genuine issue of material fact and the movant is entitled to judgment as a matter of law. A de novo standard of review…
