Defendants Nevada Bonding Corporation and Douglass Financial Corporation appeal the district court’s remand to the Nevada state district court of state law claims brought by Paul and Mary Curtis. The district court determined that it had subject matter jurisdiction over the Curtises’ claims pursuant to the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (“ERISA”), 29 U.S.C. § 1001, et seq., and that ERISA preempted some but not all of the.Curtises’ state law claims.
