STEAKLEY, Justice.

This is an original proceeding in which the Relator, Brazos River Authority, seeks a writ of mandamus to require the Respondent, the Attorney General of Texas, to approve the following two issues of bonds:(a) Brazos River Authority 1966 Canal Revenue Bonds, Series A, dated March 1, 1966, authorized in the amount of $1,675,000, all to mature and become due on March 1, 2006, and to bear interest at the rate of 3% per annum to March 1, 1976, and thereafter at the rate of 3.667% per annum, evidenced by interest coupons maturing semiannually; and(b) Brazos River Authority 1966…
