Marshall, J.:

The defendant appeals from a conviction of murder in the first degree. He interposed a plea of self-defense.

1. It is urged that the trial court committed error in refusing to give instructions requested by the defendant and in the instructions given to the jury. The matters of which complaints are made in the instructions refused and in those given are argued at length in the briefs. It is not necessary to discuss them here at equal length.
