The appellees in the summer of 1911 conducted a department store on the comer of Howard and Lexington streets, in Baltimore City, and they employed Morrow Bros, to erect an addition to their store. Morrow Bros, contracted with the appellant company for the erection of the structural iron and steel work in the new building. The proposed improvement necessitated the tearing down of the north wall of the old building.
