This suit is an action of forcible detainer brought by appellant, W. T. Grant Company, a Massachusetts corporation, before a justice of the peace against appellees, Henry J. Jaeger, Leader House Furnishing Company, and Bast St. Louis House Furnishing Company, on the 14th day of May, 1920, to recover possession of certain business property known as No. 227 Collinsville Avenue, in the City of East St. Louis, Illinois.
