I. INTRODUCTION
This matter comes before the court on the defendants’ motion to unseal this case. The plaintiffs are current and former exec utives of the pharmaceutical company Purdue Frederick Company, Inc. (“Purdue”). Plaintiff Michael Friedman is the former president and chief executive officer of Purdue, plaintiff Paul D. Goldenheim is Purdue’s former chief scientific officer and plaintiff Howard R.
