Defendant was convicted, after a trial, of failing to dim her headlights in violation of subdivision 3 of section 15 of the Vehicle and Traffic Law, and fined $5. The evidence showed that on May 1, 1959, at approximately 2:30 a.m. on a dark night, defendant was driving a 1958 Oldsmobile south ón the New York Thruway in the right-hand lane. A State Trooper was driving north in the left-hand lane in the patrol of his post.
